Some screen decoupling to ground may allow sufficient low frequency wiggle through - not too sure on whether that would give a net benefit. The EF86 cathode bypass should not have too low a corner frequency - its presently 1.5Hz, so that could be raised.Īn EF86 screen would typically be bypassed to ground, to provide a high pass gain response. You may get some enhanced attenuation of harmonics before it gets to the EF86 by capacitor shunting the V4a anode. Harmonics of the LFO fundamental frequency become noticeable, as they pass through high-pass filters more easily (that includes everything from the RC ladder just after the EF86, through to the output transformer).
